Bushveld Elephant Shrew * Bosveldklaasneus * Elephantulus Intufi

They eat insects, in particular ants. These shrews are also able to catch grasshoppers and similar insects. On the cheetah scale, they are 3 times faster than a cheetah. The shrew is NOT related to rodents at all.

Klaasneus
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry shrubland and hot deserts. Even though they live as single pairs, the bushveld elephant shrew experiences weak pair bonds.
