This site is approx 135km SW of Katima Mulilo in the Caprivi Strip.
The RestCamp is managed on behalf of the community by Wildest Logistics a sister company of Nkasa Lupala Tented Lodge that is located 3km away from the RestCamp.
Rupara enjoys its prime location which make a perfect base for Park experience and exploration. The lodge is located in the Linyanti-Kwando floodpalins where a large population of the national park’s wildlife roams freely and could be spotted from the RestCamp sites. Elephants occur mainly in the winter season, while buffaloes and lions are resident in the area.
But be careful, the waters are also home to five-metre- long crocodiles and families of hippopotamus, which venture onto the floodplains at night to feed. During the rainy season, areas of the park can become flooded and inaccessible.
