Xina & Kaxu Solar One (N Pofadder 70km)

 

Xina Solar One is one of three solar plants in which the Climate Investment Funds (CIF) has invested close to US$100 million. 

The plants, called Xina, KaXu and Khi, are concentrated solar power (CSP) plants, with KaXu being the first ever built in a developing country. They have put South Africa at the forefront of modern solar technology.

These 3 plants have a combined capacity of 250 megawatts!! Xina and KaXu are both near Pofadder.
