Swarttobie Hiking Trail
You average 10 km of hiking along the coast a day but be warned you will feel the burn the next day, Eina. Mense, the hike takes you along a virtually unexplored stretch of the West Coast close to the farming community of Koekenaap.

You’ll walk through baie mooi swathes of wildflowers and along beautiful beaches, as well as experience fascinating coastal landforms and… if you’re lucky, whales and dolphins.

The trail is a slackpacking trail, and you need to supply everything except water, and firewood.
Your accommodation is rustic so bring all your creature comforts with you. Two- or four-day trails are available and a certain amount of experience is needed.
